Chad is from the Midwest and has 35 first cousins on his mother’s side of the family. His competitive mindset started very young, vying for Grandma Gertrude’s favoritism.
As a Managing Director at Silling, Chad works to ensure we approach each project with a client-centered focus and deliver on the firm’s mission of providing critical design with servant humility. With over 25 years of experience, Chad first started his career in corporate workplace design and grew a client base to include several Fortune 500 companies, leading complex multi-disciplinary projects that required assembling high-performance teams to deliver on strategy, branding, technology integration, and sustainability. Prior to joining Silling, Chad led design studios for 12 years at Gensler and Little, focusing on the practice areas of Workplace, Aviation, Multi-family, Retail and Mixed-Use projects. His leadership approach is predicated on listening and focusing on what matters most.
