Mineral County Judicial Center

This new 25,732 square foot Justice Center sits adjacent to the historic courthouse square in downtown Keyser, West Virginia. The two story building features an open public atrium space featuring abundant natural lighting, exterior views, and security screening area.

The first floor footprint houses the county’s magistrate court and clerk, family law judge, court support, adult and juvenile probation offices, and central holding area (including an enclosed vehicular sally port). A grand stair provides convenient access to the building’s second floor and houses the circuit court and clerk, related court support spaces, and prosecuting attorney offices.

The architectural expression of the new Mineral County Justice Center provides a modern, 21st century feel while recalling some of the elements and features of the historic courthouse and downtown square.
