Campus Master Plan & Ten Year Development Plan

In 2005, West Virginia State University selected the team of Silling Associates and Educational Facilities Consultants to provide a comprehensive update to the University’s Campus Master Plan. Within the last several years, WVSU has earned both “University” and Land Grant institution statuses, which has positioned them well for a wealth of current and future opportunities for growth. Priority campus facility additions and/or improvements include the following:

New Student Residence Hall, New Land Grant Research Facility, New Science & Mathematics Academic Center, New Arts & Humanities Academic Center, New Multi-Purpose Academic & Athletic Facility, New Nutrition & Wellness Center, New Academic & Administrative Center for WV State Community & Technical College, & New Academic & Outreach Facilities at Shawnee Park. The updated Master Plan will serve to address a comprehensive list of institutional, instructional, and physical campus needs and opportunities for years to come.
