Favorite Movie Growing Up?
Mike has served as the firm’s Director of Business Development since 2004. Primarily responsible for marketing and client service management, he plays an active role in implementing Silling’s strategic business development initiatives throughout West Virginia, Ohio, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, North Carolina, and beyond. Mike also provides project support and coordination along many fronts, often working closely with the design team and client during the planning, programming, and schematic design phases.
Mike earned his Bachelor of Business Administration with a degree in Finance from West Virginia State University in 1995. He is an Associate Member of the West Virginia Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, County Commissioners’ Associations of West Virginia, Ohio, Virginia, and North Carolina, and Rotary Club of Charleston.
In his free time Mike enjoys spending time with his two uber-talented young teens (Maddie & Bryce), playing golf, vacationing on the beaches of St. Augustine, Florida, and coaching youth baseball. He likes to read books written by American sportswriter John Feinstein and he is a diehard Pearl Jam fan. Mike and his family currently reside in Hurricane, West Virginia along with their shelter-rescued St. Bernard, “Molly”.
